If you ride a basic bicycle, lets hope that you have no free hands to play with the gadgets or have your ears plugged with an mp3 player!
Accidents, are happening around us a lot. Even though we drive our vehicles as carefully as possible but it is always the other drivers that we have to worry about - right?
How can we cope with the potential of an accident? Being aware of everything around ue when we ride or drive and not getting distracted by cell phones, dvd players, gps systems etc. Of course its easy for me to say all of this, but you know that what I'm writing about is very often true.
Get rid of the distraction and concentrate more on riding or driving, and then you will be able to deal more speedily with the other driver's bad driving.

I have now bought another tool and it works great! "I always clean my chain", every week during the summer months.

Pins bend on chain tools thats why they sell replacements, it has to be narrow enough to get the pin out so its not gonna last forever, if u use it properly it should last a long time but if your not coming at the pin straight itll bend the first time,

Thanks for writing to us. As for your question, it is almost impossible to get that pin back in. If you have a Shimano chain, you can go to a bike store and get a tapered pin that will fit. If you have a sram chain, you can also get a link that can be put together manually. Shimano might claim that it doesnt work, but I do that with all my chains and I have no problems with it.

@aaronfromhastings The more accurate definition is that Rhodopsin(Visual Purple, the eye chemical that allows low-light vision) is 'bleached' by bright light, and takes time to regenerate to a state that allows low-light vision. If you close one eye during exposure to brighter light, the Rhodopsin in that eye is not bleached and you maintain a higher level of visual purple opposed to the eye that saw bright light. You can switch to your closed-eye when the low-light conditions return. :)

Pupils work independent of each other. You can prepare one eye for the tunnel by closing it 20 seconds before the tunnel. Your brain will see the NV image in preference to the "day eye". Also works in reverse. At night, always close only one eye to the oncoming headlights. When you open it again, your night vision is preserved.
